What’s the difference between Hemp and CBD?
CBD (cannabidiol) and hemp extract are related but not the same thing. Here are the key differences:
- CBD (Cannabidiol):
- Hemp Extract:
CBD is one component of hemp extract, but hemp extract can contain a wider array of compounds from the hemp plant. Depending on the extraction process, it can either retain the full spectrum of compounds or isolate specific elements like CBD.
When you're shopping for CBD products, it's essential to check labels to understand whether it's pure CBD isolate or a full-spectrum/broad-spectrum product containing additional compounds. The quality and effectiveness of these products can vary based on the extraction method and the presence of other cannabinoids and compounds.
